There is one HUGE advantage to getting WinX edition and that is fps. The fps has increased dramatically from the PC version. I even ran this on a bad computer to try it out, and I was floating around 60-80 fps. I love the fact that you can change skins and characters. Some of the content of the game is outdated compared to the PC edition, but many people are enjoying it because it reminds them of Minecraft classic. Overall, I think this has great potential. Now, there are some legitimate reasons not to get this game, but if you have the Java version, you might as well get this, too, because you can use the code you have with your Mojang account to get this for free. That's what I did. I actually prefer this over the Java Edition because it performs better on my computer. That being said, it's simply a port from pocket edition to a pc, which means it is limited to the functions of mobile devices to a degree. Granted, it does not have as much functionality as the full pc version, but it does allow you to connect with pe and xbox users in way that was not possible before. And remember, it is in BETA testing, which means there will be quite a few bugs and crashes.

Overall, it's great for it's use. I love the fact that you have the option of adventure, survival, and creative. When I played MCPE 5 years ago it was nothing like this.
