Huawei Echolife Hg865 Manual Transfer
Hi friends, today I will present a router, access point, repeater, WDS, or AP client, all in one device smart, small and very cheap, just 50 lei. Over time we have made several or the wireless devices, there have video tutorials for everything from setting the RDS tomers through PPPoE and to transform a network card in the router. You have a choice! The product today is different, can be anything from access point to the repeater, it can even connect to a wireless network as 'to procure net'. That wireless + wireless out, riuterul must only be connected to the outlet. Operating modes of Netis WT2412: AP router = acess point + router + switch Repeater = can widen the coverage of a wireless network AP Client = can act as a wireless network card for PC WDS = Wireless network consisting of two or more routers that support WDS connection between routers is wireless. Priced at £ 50 of this product is a best buy, basically you have nothing to reproach him money.
Sure, you have a range of high end products: ASUS - RT-AC68U or Linksys WRT 1900 AC, but we need to look and price. For those who want to cover a larger area, I recommend the antenna patterns for a aparatament small enough and a wireless router antenna as in the tutorial. For those who have 'forgotten' password wireless and can not connect to the net, we have a tutorial with 'finding' password using BackTrack, video tutorial called Used wisely information in tutorial, crush your neighbor's network. If the router does not like it, I did some time ago another tutorial in which we presented a very good TpLink router that can install and DD WRT:. As you can see there are some tutorials that anyone passionate or who wants to learn, you should follow them carefully. As usual, we expect the comments section so we're clear, talk or gossip.
My name Ciprian and you have a question and simultaneously a problem I have a router Netis-wf2471 and are connected to an internet Rds. I did router settings corespunxstoare But I have a problem 1.emite wifi signal. My connect with tel. But I can not download anything and this at other sites 2.aceasta problem is encountered and desktop connected to the router Incidentally. I unplugged the router net and I connected directly to pc. And that limitation is gone. So please tell me what to do Cristi exactly which setting.
Thanks a lot. I'm so sorry that it queries my post here, but I'd like someone to clarify me. I posted it and the tutorial Acronis True Image 2011 that was posted 4 years, and it's hard to get an answer. It again I'm so sorry!
Thunder-link.com supply Huawei HG8245H, buy HG8245H. Huawei EchoLife HG8245H optical network. Generated by the bank wire transfer. Filed in: Port-Forwarding, Reapeter, router, Tutorials, wireless tagged with what a repeater, What is WDS, wireless net connection, wireless connection, how to increase wireless range, How do I. Or how I can do I can make it move! I have a router connected to the HUAWEI ZTE ZXHN H298N ECHOLIFE HG 865.
Nush if someone respond to me in this post considering that this tutorial was posted almost 4 years. Anyway my question is next! I have an Acer PC from Germany 4 years now, he has the Acer backup and restore, backup is placed on a hidden part. When reinstalling Windows actualiazarile last very long and I thought it was up to date and I do a new BackUp. I installed the Acronis backup I did but the backup occurred selected and my HDD where the factory backup HDD 100 MB, images taken reach 37 GB!
The questions are: 1. Can I Backup only C partition where Windows and I cunctioneze right? If you are partition C only affects restoring other partitions, eg the backup partition from the factory? What's better to do all 3 backup HDDs, or just enough partition C. Another question that is not related to this tutorial, sorry. After you make a backup image, can I delete the hidden partitions 2 (100MB parity and one with factory backup) without having problems after that, because I want to buy an SSD and I want to put he windows (backup image).
Any chance I can make this change or a bad idea? Or how I can do I can make it move! Backup Factory is not the same with the one made with Acronis. Partition mega 100 not allowed to delete it. Partition backup of the factory can be removed and attached to the partition C. However, we can not know for sure if the manufacturer did not put the MBR partition backup.
Any operation you do those two hidden partitions can ruin your operating system. I usually remove and reinstall the operating system partition backup, but in this case you'll have to reactivate liceentei by phone from Microsoft. If you still want to do backup with Acronis, I would advise you to save all partitions and put the backup on an external hard drive or to break it into several pieces with winrar or 7zip, so that it can put on more DVDs.
I know what you say, but a little complicated to explain and to write all this is a lot! But let's try.
I got home a letter with a fine of EUR 2800, they say for a movie that I downloaded it after I used to exchange the money! (Do not see a link here). IP that I'm on the letter does not match my address, I called and I explained that I did not take any video and IP is not mine, but I said that IP I change when I get on the net. Now I nush to pay, ptr not got nothing on the net, especially in 5 morning when I was in fantasyland.
It can be as they say, to change my IP? Around the high that's my problem, and as I trust your knowledge want an explanation as I can give her I sued them for the job! Gm56usb Driver Win7. Thanks so much Cristi! Could you make a tutorial on that would be the best router that has the range between 250-500 m, or changes that can be made to a router by changing antennas. You have already submitted a 3 models of routers (D-Link, TP-Link, Netis this site that's a pretty interesting tutorial) but I want to give more explanations about failure means a router, where to watch the specifications to figure out what the coverage is, how we can make changes to a router by mounting some components on it etc.
And differences between devices such sites (access point, router, repeater) or the difference between antennas (omnidirectional, and bidirectional, dbi etc.) all in one tutorial, even if you more than an hour, I will certainly not be bored and I will not run because these things interest me very much, and certainly there are visitors 'thirst' like me... Please make such a tutorial, if you have the opportunity!
Alin-Lucian question is simple. Some Internet Service Providers assign static IPs (which does not change with each connection to the internet) and the majority assigns dynamic IPs that change with every internet connection. Even if your ISP assigns dynamic IP that does not means that, they will not know what time, on what date was assigned ip X and to whom. It keeps some logs just for cases where someone uses the Internet to make illegal. When a client commits a crime, look in the log provider, check what time was allocated ip committing illegality, on what date and who was assigned that IP. If you now have another ip from the day of the offense, does not make you innocent!
Have another ip now have a subscription for dynamic ip but that does not prevent providers ip verify that you have now or 2 3 days. Although Netis can connect and can pass on only wireless connection in these types have losses. When the network is thinking well, must be planned, that you would be good to have wires going all over the house and their end to be many a netis or other router, that way you do not have signal loss and good everywhere. Even if wireless is the wave, it must be said that the cable is King stability. If you build house, buy your cable cat5e and spread it everywhere, in a central position where he will stay roouterul towards extremities. If you already finished inside the house will have to use power line adapters to net transport through the power lines. Compared to cable cat5e, these adapters are more expensive.
Reset the router to default settings. Bottom has a hole, push a needle or a toothpick.
It happens sometimes after firmware update was more confusing settings. The NIC driver settings jab. If still not working means that the router DHCP server does not give you ip. In that case you have to put the network settings manually.
Manual settings for the network card in your PC or laptop that you want to go into settings roiter site. Ip put 192.168.0.10 At subnet 255.255.255.0 At degault gateway 192.168.0.1 In just one pass dsn 192.168.0.1 Then save and inceci again to get into the router.
After you fix it up, restore settings on the network card driver. Hello, I watched your presentation with great attention and interest at the same time because I want to get myself a router di this but I want to know if you can connect to a router via wireless signal to give away and also to cable connected to a PC. Why this interests me, well I want to connect to a router in the neighborhood and at the router I can not connect with the phone because the signal is weak and probably if you put in a way to boost signal repeater but I want to use it on pc. I hope you understand me. Thanks in advance.
I wish to congratulate you videotutorial.ro website, watched with interest your advice, and I would ask you to give me an idea about the problem that I have. Company where I work has a wifi router 2.4 ghz, wifi internet access is free, I live in the building next to the company about 15 m from the router and the laptop near the window I 2 signal lines. How can I get a better signal and how to distribute it throughout the house (approx 40 mp) where I live? (For TV, playstation. Mobile phone) I mention that I can not adjust the antenna to the router I connect the firm or UTP cable. (Possibly more than to put a repeater / extender in building eg. Netgear WN3000RP that extends signal but lose much of download speed from what I understand).
From what I found I had an AP Ubiquam PICOM2HP that probably you can set the repeater and connect to a router or adapter inside airGateway. I have found indoor signal booster TP-LINK TL-WA830RE, ZyXEL WAP3205 V2, or probably different routers that know and AP client mode. What do you think would be the best solution?
I look forward to your response. Hi Cristi please help me given me a neighbor's router password from Netis_2_4g I login but does not really work because the world was not always reset to configuring one because I know it is a distance between us and between 150m us is a building signal is good but the connection is slow ff I home adapter from TP-LINK and a directional antenna is 16dbi.Intrebarea can help me configure this router as Accespint can enter or skip or Teamviever do you have a program that can help me to enter my address is Viorel Baciu.Sau Skip expect a reply by email Thanks in advance. See you here: in downloads section, at the bottom a quick quide installation (Quick Installation Guide) in PDF format.
Basically blue cable connected to the modem jack RDS WAN router, and the blue cable that comes in the package Netis LAN jack connect the router and ethernet jack on the PC. Then enter inbrowser 192.168.1.1 address, the address that accessed it and Cristi in tuorial. There the Quick Setup Internet Connection Type heading select PPPoE and enter the username and password you have in your contract.
View as passed by these settings and crystal tutorial and guide that explains in PDF. Hello, I have a router Netis wf2419d and I have problems with it. Introduce wan cable net and the LED does not light. Configuration is identical to the one posted here after manually. RCS-RDS provider is.
I do not understand anything, I direct cable net, if I connect the router to the computer wan WAN LED lights. I do not know what happens, as if the router does not want to see the RDS net.
What would be the problem (again, as the manual configuration is done, ie PC saw my router sees my browser address)? Cristi, thank videotutoriale! I bought a netis2412 who will not do their job! Has a different type of interface wan point source lipsindla outher!
Everything else pretty much the same! In setting the wireless network connection, you are forced to work in AP is not connected and there is no limited access! Reapetear mode worked a couple of times lost signal and basta! Repeatear no longer access any!
Like without net access line appears with a yellow triangle! I have a new leptop done but I installed your Windows 8 7ultimate! What suggestions you have! I tried with a seruoux and as.multumesc!
Cristi Hello! I have read and comment above I tried those settings but nothing!!! I got the same problem with Netis WF2420 after a firmware update. It looks exactly like the one you have presented you, just as is 300 mb. Do not manage to get into the interface, does not see anything.
No laptop, tablet, phone. SYS LED lit, and the WAN lit and visible light. I tried all settings and data you anything. Pretty please, if there is a possibility of the 'revive, use the same term as the friend of the comment above, which seems most appropriate in this situation, please play again, you tell me and I if there is any solution. I hope that the last version is not the total resuscitation hammered two Kg. Thank you and good day!

[.] Hi friends, today we will see how we can speed 300 or 150 Mbps (depends on network card) on wireless.
Many of you have purchased laptop or tablet and have noticed that the wireless speed is not as high as you expect, that even if you are near the router. Due to the limited speed wireless channel bandwidth is usually router issue 20 / 40 Mhz instead the vast majority of cards are limited to only 20 Mhz. It must be said that not all wireless NICs can achieve 300 N Mbps, but many can achieve and do not do because of this limitation.
To speed touch with your network card must have a maximum transmission power of the router and network card can be operated in 20 / 40 for wireless B, G and N are very important drivers, you must have the best drivers, preferably on the official website of the manufacturer. N150 wireless NICs can not go to 300, they are limited in the factory and you do not do.
The tutorial is for those who have network card N300 have N300 router and network card still only go up to 150, or for those who NIC N150 and not actually get on the 65-72 DESAT Mbps. If you do not have a router, but no bloated budget, I recommend two routers that I have, are quite good and not expensive at all. TP-LINK TL-WR740N a wireless router super cheap and super good Netis, a router and repeater capable, small and very cheap [.].
So the ONT Huawei EchoLife HG865 is pretty much a media converter and thats all it is, so it wont be that stopping you from connecting if you old modem / router worked when connected to the HG865 then it suggests one of a few things 1.
D-Link DIR-615:: Disconnects After Random Minutes / Hours Oct 30, 2011 I just recently purchased a D-Link 615 and i've been having disconnection issues with the internet. Every now and then the internet connection disconnects and i have to reboot the router to have internet access again.

My setup is a Actiontec Q1000 with (QAQ002-31.20L.4) modem/router that talks to qwest. Then I connect to a linksys router WRT54G2. I connect directly to the linksys router with an ethernet cable, but my family connects to it wirelessly. I ran a constant ping to my modem and to google, and on the random disconnect, the Actiontec Q1000 gets a huge 4000ms response time (but then it resumes normally), and I get ping timeouts to google. Windows 7 will say 'no internet connection available'. Not sure if it makes a difference, but I had google timeout 4 times during my constant pings.
Nobody else is connected when it does this random disconnects, so I'm not sure what's causing it. I've tried a lot of things, from changing and flushing my dns, connecting directly to the modem, turning off QoS/firewall settings, but nothing seems to work.
Feb 20, 2012 Just today i've started having problems with my Wireless Network. Other adapters in my area are causing me to get random disconnects every few minutes.I've tried changing the channel on my router several times, but to no avail. Is there anything else worth trying? May 12, 2011 I am using a D-Link DIR-655 REV B (Firmware: 2.00NA) wireless router. The problem I keep having is that the internet will randomly disconnect and it happens to all my computers. I am not sure if it is the router or the modem that is causing this.
The internet service provider that I am using is Time Warner Cable and the modem is an ARRIS TM502G.I have tried resetting the modem and the internet seems to come back. Same thing happens if I try to reset the router instead of the modem. I have also tried restoring the router to factory default settings and that didn't seem to work. May 26, 2012 I have my D-link DIR 600 and I never had problems with it until now.
For the past three weeks, my router keeps on disconnecting my Desktop P.C. From which the main internet cable is connected.
Whenever it happens, I try connecting my Netbook over a WiFi connection using the same router; and even though my desktop can not connect to the internet, my netbook still can. Apparently when it happens, the [3] (the 4th light in the image) light goes off, and I have to restart my Desktop P.C. For it to turn on again and to use the internet again. Nov 26, 2011 it seems so far that everything other than AIM works out of the box with this router but within 5mins time AIM disconnects. I have tried the application filter and port forwarding but nothing seems to work.
May 26, 2012 I have connected two dsl modems for extending wifi coverage, the main one is netgear and the extended on is D-link,but the problem is the d-links wireless disconnects every 5 minutes or so.i have connected a pc with a cable from this modem but there r no problems with pc internet.so is the hardware of modem faulty or is this due to inappropriate settings of modem,i have disabled the dhcp and changed the ip address already. Feb 18, 2013 Region: UnitedKingdom Model: TL-WR740N Hardware Version: V4 Firmware Version: ISP: i m experiencing wireless disconnects every 5 or 10 minutes and all i have to do is too disconnect from the router in windows from Wireless connections panel, and reconnect and it ggets fixed for some time again. I got so frustrated that i changed to openwrt, the disconnection problem is gone but not getting the 150Mbps. Apr 2, 2011 For about 7/24th of the day it'll be fine. But the rest of the day it will be riddled with burst packet loss. For example when I'm pinging. It'll go 'Done Done Done Done Done Request timed out Timed out Timed out [code].
Due to how it's only certain times it happens and other times it's perfect leads me to believe it's my ISP. Apr 30, 2011 isp is Comcast. They have had 2 techs come out here to look at problem and found nothing. I'm on a wireless connection with router in the next room. Modem was replaced a week ago and still problem persists.
Landlady says she has no problem (shes the one in the next room and is connected directly) but I think that because she doesn't notice (I play online games so its very noticeable). I have excellent signal from router.
This is my report: Windows IP Configuration Host Name............: ***** Primary Dns Suffix.......: Node Type............: Unknown IP Routing Enabled........: No [code]. Feb 18, 2012 I am experiencing random disconnects from the internet -- they have been occurring about 1-3 times per day, although I've just had four in the last 20 minutes. Cable - 15/1Mbps Modem: Motorola SB6121 (new) Router: D-Link DIR-655 (new) Firmware 2.00NA When the internet disconnects: - Both the LAN & the WAN are affected, but I do not lose any wireless connectivity with the router itself. - I am able to log into the router wirelessly but cannot access the modem. - If I plug my laptop directly into the modem, I can connect to the internet.
- When I reboot (using the on/off switch on the surge protector), everything comes back up. There are a couple of other wireless routers nearby with fairly strong signals, but they appear to be running on different channels. My phones are DECT 6.0, so there shouldn't be any interference problems with those. I've been poking around this forum, and have already made some setting changes that seem to be consistently recommended: - Ensured DNS IP addresses are being filled in under Setup/Internet/Manual - Turned off ALL QoS (DIR only) GameFuel (DGL only and if ON.) options.
Advanced/QoS or Gamefuel. - Turned off Advanced DNS Services - Turned on DNS Relay under Setup/Networking. - Setup DHCP reserved IP addresses for all devices on the router.
- Ensured devices are set to auto obtain an IP address. - Set Firewall settings to Endpoint Independent for TCP and UDP. - Using mixed G and N signal mode - My security setting is WPA-Personal.
WPA2-PSK Mar 26, 2011 So.few days ago this is happening even more frequently, my service is from Verizon wireless. Its getting really annoying when i randomly disconnecting while im doing something important or its so slow it takes 4 minutes to load one page. Im in the basement so is my modem.
Im using windows 7. Mar 12, 2011 I bought my new router WAG320N two weeks ago and each morning after 10 hours operation I loose my internet connectivity I can't even remote into the router and press the connect button to connect to the internet again.I have to power cycle the modem to be able to connect to the internet again.?
I though this may be ISP related put my old adsl router plugged it in and ran for 2 days no disconnection. Aug 22, 2012 I'm probably overlooking something very simple but is there a command to show the uptime of a router interface in days, hours, minutes? Oct 21, 2010 Running Firmware v. 1.00.19 here, which I reckon is the most recent version. My network consists of two Macbooks, an iMac and two iPhones.
It utilizes WAP2 encryption and all devices are well within range, the environment being free of interferences from any other WiFi signals (this is a rural area). My problem: Bonjour networking stops working after a few minutes or hours. When the problem appears, WIRED devices can see all other peers in the network (both wired and wireless), but WIRELESS devices cannot see any other peers whatsoever (wired or wireless). I have heard that this could be because of a faulty implementation of uPNP by Linksys, and in particular a problem with multicast filtering (and unfortunately the modem/router's firmware does not provide any relevant settings).
But I am not sure. I purchased this thing with the express purpose to use it on a Mac-only network, and I am thoroughly disappointed to see that it does not work, especially since UPNP is supposed to be supported. Nov 17, 2011 Have a few users on Vista/7 using Windows L2TP to connect to our ASA5510. It is reported that after a few hours the connection drops. From what I have seen this can be anywhere around 5-6 hours. Of course my connection will drop after an amount of time has passed and no traffic has passed the tunnel.
But the users are adament that this drops during large transfers; i.e. Not a timeout issue. Before I spend anymore time on this I just want to know if this is normal behavior for a remote access L2TP using Windows to disconnect on it's own after this amount of time.
Never had a reason myself to remain connected that long, and when I did I used a site 2 site tunnel. Nov 2, 2012 I just moved to a new rural city and Centurylink DSL is the only option for internet. I just had it installed on Monday and have had problems immediately. The two main problems are this:1) My computer is connected wirelessly but cannot seem to connect my mobile devices. My phone and my Google Nexus both try to obtain IP address and then immediately disconnect and try to reconnect over and over. Strangely my Kindle Fire didn't seem to have a problem.) I've found that when I am playing a game (Team Fortress 2 and World of Warcraft) and sometimes even watching a video on youtube, I will lose connection and get booted from my game or have to restart the video.
The lights on the modem don't change and the modem itself does not disconnect or reboot. I seem to have internet service immediately after, but I get a hiccup probably once every 10 minutes that makes games unplayable Mar 2, 2013 recently upgraded most of my computer parts and reformatted from windows 7 enterprise 32bit to win7 enterprise 64bit.
(all of this happened in a computer store) I never had internet problems before the reformat, however it has happened to me before when I had previous, newly reformats on my pc which usually goes away after 2-3 months. Here is the problem, the internet is fine when I start using it and after an hour or two it will disconnect and when I troubleshoot it, it will just say 'DNS server isn't responding' and what I do is turn the modem off and turn it back on and the internet will come back after 10-20 seconds. So basically my internet is fine and will just go down then to fix it I just have to turn the router off and on.
Jan 25, 2013 I have been having a high ping issue both via a cable and wireless. When i connect via wireless, it is generally 2 ms, sometimes goes up to 4 and 5 and rarely i get packet losses. Via a cable, i get usually 1 ms, and sometimes 2 ms.
It generates a problem while online gaming and btw i tried changing channels and it didnt work. I even get same pings when i am 3 meters away from the router compared to less than 1 ms pings.
Nov 20, 2011 my ethernet cables is plugged into my xbox and router. It gets disconnected every 15mins. Should i change something in the routers config page? Dec 11, 2012 my idea net setter disconnect after 10 or 15 minute. Feb 11, 2013 Wired PC randomly disconnects from network at random intervals each dayoday it has done so 3 times.
The only way I have found to get it working again is to reset the router which can be inconvenient. When it disconnects all wireless devices continue to work and I have no issues like this with my wired consolesI switched to using a static IP address, since having an automatic one gave me the same results [i have since switched back to automatic]Be happy for any suggestions on how to sort this.
I am using W7 OS and I'm using an Orange router. I don't know if its relevant, but when I go to reset my router I have noticed that the download light on my router is flashing like crazy when my PC has disconnected. Jul 28, 2011 I see that many people have the same problem, random disconnects. I am a long term sufferer from this. I have called support before they can't fix it. And being knowledgeable with routers has not worked at all.
I turned off every wireless device in the house, even the microwave it still happens. I change the channel countless times it still happens. May 4, 2012 I've been having this problem for a while now but something is coming up for which i require 24/7 internet connection with NO failures.
Problem: about 2 to 3 times a day i lose internet connection for about 1 to 2 minutes and after that everything is totally fine again. There are 5 lights on my modem in this order from top to bottom: Internet: This light blinks green when im using it like downloading or playing something online.
It stays green when i have internet but im not sending or recieving any data. DSL: always green.
Wireless: I use wireless connection. Its always blinking orange (i dont know why orange but it works fine) Ethernet: This light is always off cause i dont use cables. Power: always green. What happens is that my DSL light which is supposed to be green.
Starts blinking. Then after 30 seconds or so it stops and just turns green again but my Internet light turns red. It stays red for about 1 to 2 minutes and then it turns green again and works fine again. Called the company many times but they dont detect anything because when we call, its always working fine. So all they tell me to do is reset the modem which does nothing.
I never had this problem at my previous house 2 years ago. It just started at this address so it makes me think it is the line and not a computer/modem problem. Sep 29, 2012 So lately I've been having this problem where my internet decides to stop working for about 5 seconds every half an hour or so which gets kind of annoying if i'm in the middle of an online game or anything else that requires an uninterrupted connection. When it occurs none of the lights on the modem change and all of the other computers connected to it do not disconnect, only my computer is disconnecting. So far I have tried changing the ethernet cord, switching ports on the modem, updating all of my drivers, and going into the device manager to disable the cut power to device option on my ethernet card. But none of these seem to alleviate the problem. Mar 29, 2012 I have Windows 7 PRO and since I bought it I have wierd disconnects.
The network works for like 2-3 minutes and then disconnects for 5+ mintues. Aug 11, 2011 My net connection is disconnecting every 30-45mins and this has been going on now for the past three weeks since I built my new PC.Here's what I've done to try to rectify this: * Uninstalled/reinstalled Windows 7 (64-bit) * Called ISP (AOL), whose first and second-line tech support ran tests and couldn't find any problems with the line.
* Changed the router (from a D-Link DSL2640-R to a Huawei EchoLife HG521 - both provided by ISP). * Replaced the Ethernet cable that connects the router to my PC. * Replaced the Rj11 cable that connects my router to the DSL filter. * Replaced both DSL filters in my house (I have two phones at seperate locations in my house). * Removed the bell wire from my telephone sockets. Whilst this didn't fix the disconection problem, it has increased my download speed from 130kbps to over 300kbps.
* Uninstalled the ethernet network adapter and then installed the most up-to-date network adapter driver available. * Tried a couple of programs to optimize both my network and my PC to no avail. * Changed my Anti-virus software from AVG to Avast, but again, there's no fix. [code] Sep 11, 2012 I can give is that every 5-10mins my internet cuts out for about 5 seconds, just long enough to kick me out of a game if I'm playing one. So it's beyond frustrating. I use a toshiba laptop and it was recently reformatted.
These stupid dcs used to happen before the reformat. They'd happen one week then stop the next. After the reformat which was done (hopefully professionally) by geeksquad, infact they gave me a new hard drive too cause my old one heated up real fast, I was fine for a few months and now like a sickness it has strucken me again. So far it's been a week of nonstop disconnects every 5-10mins.
It actually did stop for about 12hours today but I rebooted and then it started again. So there IS a way to fix it, I just don't know what I did.I am 100% certain it's not my wireless connection, the same thing happens with an ethernet cord. The ipconfig flushdns stuff, and the netsh winsock reset stuff. Also of course i've done various virus scans i'm fairly certain that's not the issue. Jun 9, 2011 I'm having a problem with my wireless internet connection. Just recently my roommates and I got cable internet and a wireless router for the house. Since connecting to the wireless router, it keeps on disconnecting me and then reconnecting once every 2 minutes about.
The disconnection last for only 10 seconds but is very annoying and disrupts everything I'm doing on the internet. What is going on and how can I fix it? Feb 24, 2012 In one setup, we have fibre optic connection given by the ISP upto Distribution box inside the house where the fibre optic cable is connected to HUAWEI-ECHOLFIE HG865 terminal. From the RJ 45 port in that device, the ethernet cable goes to the DLINK 8 port switch.
All the 8 ports are connected with ethernet cables to 8 rooms going concealed through the wall. Our ISP person tested the connection by connecting one patch cable (from the DLINK SWITCH via the wall socket)to the WAN port of LINKSYS WRT300N wireless router and connecting other ethernet cable from the lan port of the router to the laptop, setup the username, password, encapsulation pppoe and configured the internet.found working. I tried to configure the wireless in the house by fixing LINKSYS access point in some rooms. Here the problem started. I cannot fix the LINKSYS router inside the DB in front portion of the house since there is no space in that and cannot keep the linksys router outside also, So I kept the linksys router inside one room and tried by connecting cable from the wall socket to a 5 ports mini switch and from the mini switch I connected one cable to WAN PORT of the linksys router and one cable to linksys's lan port because I want to share the internet in all the rooms. Jul 5, 2011 Every 25 minutes, sometimes sooner, sometimes later but usually on the dot I get limited access and the router interface becomes inaccessible for about 1-3 minutes. My problem is my room mate has left for the week and the router is locked in there.
I am unable to connect hardwired or power cycle the router. I have the password for the connect and I just got the PW for the router interface. I also have remote capabilities.
I have been trying many things to stop it from being so slow and unstable but basically even though my signal reception is 4-5 bars I am only averaging 11mbps speed. I am using a b/g alfa 1w adapter but this shouldn't be the cause of the slower speeds. I can only achieve 1-3mbps down on speedtest.net whereas before I was getting 6-12mbps down. -NAT Firewall Open. -300mbps Max -Channel 1 no other channels within 5 channels near it. -WPA2-PSK [AES] -Default MAC Address -Automatic Configuring of all IP Addresses -MTU 1500 -WMM On.
Being limited by lack of power cycle and hardwired connect makes it a little harder. I know it's fixable without that though. Also there is no point of a hardwired connect unless I am upgrading the firmware (it already has the newest firmware by default) because I know it should work fine like that. I have tested connecting to other networks and I do not d/c on them.
My own research has shown that setting a static IP resolves the issue. I am unfamiliar with exactly how to set this up for the router and the client and if it involves dealing with the ISP (Comcast) Oct 14, 2011 I check all of the settings and changed the channel to see if it works. For some reason it disconnects my wireless internet at random times and i know before it never use to do that before with a older router. There is nothing blocking it, it worked before, and my computers can connect except two. The only thing i can guess is my wireless card. Apr 10, 2012 Yesterday I bought a new wireless adapter (Belkin Surf Micro, it was the only one for sale nearby). I installed it from the disk, and it worked for around a minute, then. This kept happening every time with several reboots and reinstalls inbetween.I thought maybe the adapter was faulty, so I installed it on my Mums laptop.
It worked great.I have tried flushing the dns, and some other command prompt based things suggested on other sites, but to no avail. But here's the thing that strikes me as funny: Even when it connects to the internet for that minute or so I cannot ping the router, even though it says on the router page (viewed from another computer) that I am definately connected to it. I also cannot ping google or anything but myself.
